The best way to learn
how to lead is to become a leader.
Toastmasters
provides many opportunities for members
to practice positive leadership skills.
In Toastmasters, members advance in the
Leadership track of the educational program
by participating in club leadership activites.
The Toastmasters approach is hands-on and
participatory, not dry and academic; its
a place to try your hand at leadership instead
of just reading about it.
So
if youre looking for a place to put
some of those leadership ideas youve
been reading about into practice in a safe,
supportive environment, give Toastmasters
a try.
The
more you become involved in Toastmasters,
the more you will benefit from the Toastmasters
programme. There are a number of leadership
learning experiences available to extend
your skills and knowledge both within and
outside the Toastmasters Club environment.
You
can learn valuable communication and leadership
skills by conducting or participating in
these modules. Each module or seminar can
be conducted within the Club for members'
education or outside of the Club in your
organisation or community to build goodwill.
